Biographie

Caesar Ruest is the Dassault Systèmes Construction Solutions Advisor based in Toronto, Canada. Focusing on AEC software solutions that incorporate process improvements, and best practices, Caesar has influenced a number of significant North American customers and projects to integrate change in order to realize world-class advancements within capital project delivery trends as it relates to planning, visualization, and management of assets for their lifecycle. With over 20 years’ experience in the AEC marketplace, Caesar meets with executives and capital project stakeholders as a trusted advisor, identifying data interoperability improvements that result in operations and maintenance efficiencies.

Patrick Mays

AEC Industry Business Consultant - Dassault Systèmes

Mr. Mays has over twenty five years of experience in architecture and construction, and joined Dassault Systèmes to lead strategy in the building construction market. He was formerly the General Manager for North America at Graphisoft and part of research and development at Herman Miller. He offers knowledge in model based design, intelligent building systems, networks, and web based information systems.

Mr. Mays was CIO at NBBJ Architects from 1997 to 2004 and led one of the world’s largest design firms in the transition to Building Information Modeling (BIM). He was responsible for developing standard construction administration procedures for the firm of Backen, Arrigoni & Ross, and he was responsible technology systems at HOK.

He was project manager for the Presidio San Francisco from 1991 to 1996, which involved the transformation of a 1,400 acre Army Base with 850 buildings into a National Park. Mr. Mays has extensive experience in construction administration in both new construction and renovation. He has been published in numerous newspapers and magazines for both his design work as well as special areas of technical expertise. He also worked with architectural firms from 1980 to 1990 in South Carolina, Virginia and Washington, DC.
