CanBIM hosted its Annual General Meeting online for the first time ever on December 2.
Feedback has been great! We hit a new high for attendance and the new format proved to be engaging, insightful, and entertaining. Along with many great organization updates the CanBIM membership thanked out-going Board Members and voted in three new Board Members, Andrea Lee, Glaholt Bowles LLP, Derek Cheung, Mattamy Homes and Mark Cichy, HOK Canada.
Pietro Ferrari, CanBIM Vice President interviewed Patrick Saavedra, Director, Planning, Architectural Design and Renovations at York University about the importance and value of CanBIM Certification as it relates to digital project delivery.
We also heard from two of our CanBIM Think Tank Chairs, Geraldine Rayner, SummitBIM and Catherine MacInnis, IBI Group who sat down with CanBIM Board Member George Ikonomakis to talk about future plans for advancing the industry through the Think Tanks.
Immediately following the AGM, the CanBIM Board hosted an engaging panel discussion about CanBIM's role in shaping the industry.
