Statement of Purpose

The Development, Asset Management & Lifecycle Think Tank purpose is to understand and support the needs of Owners within a Canadian context with regard to the use of AECOO technologies and BIM implementation.

Goals

  • Help owners identify opportunities to generate more value from their projects and during lifecycle management
  • Use metrics to benchmark Owner projects and facility management
  • Help owners analyse the current technology to chose the right tools to reach organizational goals
  • Publish BIM guidelines and essential standards for Owners and Facility Managers
  • Lead with a clear strategy and unite other CanBIM committees around Owner’s needs
