Digitizing Manitoba's Built Environment: The Role of BIM

Join us and discover how Building Information Modeling (BIM) is used within Manitoba architectural, engineering, construction and owner community. Be a part of the discussion, as we look at the business benefits of BIM and some of its obstacles such as:

  • Who is using BIM in the local eco-system, and why?

  • Is BIM increasing business, reducing costs, both, either?

  • What are the investments related to an effective BIM implementation, and what is the related payback?

  • What is the Owners perspective on BIM? Is BIM a competitive differentiator when bidding on projects, a base requirement to be at the project table, or do they care?

  • Which projects are best and least suited to BIM?  Find out what to look for and what to avoid in a project as you adopt BIM.

  • How is BIM streamlining and complicating collaboration for all stakeholders  ? How can collaboration be made as effective as possible, and what are the paybacks ?
