In Aecon we deployed the concept of ISO 19650 on a build project in downtown Toronto. This project was a bid build and we integrated the design in the BIM environment and utilized a Common Data Environment approach with ISO 19650 workflows and data management.
Ben Feltham is Director of Integrated Digital Delivery at Aecon Constructor’s. Ben leads the implementation of BIM, Digital Construction and Digital Transformation for Aecon. Ben was previously in the UK, where he was involved with the adoption of BIM through the UK BIM mandate, supporting the development of PAS1192:2.
Ben’s focus areas in Digital are in the lead contractor areas, such as – Common Data Environments, Mobile Technology, Asset Management, Utilisation of 3D laser scanning and digital processes as well as well-known BIM tools to support 4D and 5D.
